Mint Whip Irish Coffee

Dress up your St. Patrick’s Day with this ๐•„๐•š๐•Ÿ๐•ฅ ๐•Ž๐•™๐•š๐•ก ๐•€๐•ฃ๐•š๐•ค๐•™ โ„‚๐• ๐•—๐•—๐•–๐•–ย โ˜•๏ธโ˜˜๏ธ

Step 1: Make Your Mint Whip

Serves 4-6

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 handful of fresh mint leaves loosely chopped
  1. Add sugar, water and mint to a small sauce pan and bring to a boil
  2. Turn the heat to medium and stir until the sugar dissolves
  3. Strain out the mint leaves and let syrup cool completely (in the fridge is fine)
  4. Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until thick but not quite fluffy
  5. Gently fold the mint syrup into the whipped cream with a spatula

*Add a drop of green food coloring to make it festive


Step 2: Make your Irish Coffee

Serves 1 (easily multiplied)


  • 6 oz water
  • 1 Cask & Kettle Irish Coffee Cocktail Pod
  • .5 oz pure maple syrup (increase for sweetness)
  • Mint whip
  1. Boil water
  2. Heat your glass and a spoon for your whip float
  3. Remove your spoon from heating water and pour out
  4. Add Cask & Kettle Irish Coffee to your mug
  5. Add 1 tablespoon (pure) maple syrup to your mug
  6. Fill your mug with 6oz of water and stir, leave 1 inch of space for whip
  7. Hold your heated spoon (upside down) over your mug and pour your whip cream onto it to slow the flow into the glass, your whip should sit on top of the surface of your coffee
  8. Drink and enjoy!

Fire up any Keurig-style brewing system


1. Put your favorite mug on brewer stand.


2. Give your favorite Cask & Kettle® k-pod a quick shake and place in holder.


3. Select your brew setting. Lower the water setting for a stronger brew (recommended for Mexican Coffee).


4. Enjoy


Too strong? Add more hot water or select a higher setting for your next mug.

1. Pour ¾ - 1 cup of hot or cold water into your mug.


2. Peel the lid off 1 Cask & Kettle® k-pod, pour our mixture into your mug & stir.


3. Add ice if you're looking for a colder brew.


Don't forget to add your favorite finishing touches.


Add a splash of creamer, dollop of ice cream, shot of cream liquor, or your own garnish.
