Dress up your St. Patrick’s Day with this ๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ โ๐ ๐๐๐๐ย โ๏ธโ๏ธ
Step 1: Make Your Mint Whip
Serves 4-6
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 handful of fresh mint leaves loosely chopped
- Add sugar, water and mint to a small sauce pan and bring to a boil
- Turn the heat to medium and stir until the sugar dissolves
- Strain out the mint leaves and let syrup cool completely (in the fridge is fine)
- Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until thick but not quite fluffy
- Gently fold the mint syrup into the whipped cream with a spatula
*Add a drop of green food coloring to make it festive
Step 2: Make your Irish Coffee
Serves 1 (easily multiplied)
Ingredients
- 6 oz water
- 1 Cask & Kettle Irish Coffee Cocktail Pod
- .5 oz pure maple syrup (increase for sweetness)
- Mint whip
- Boil water
- Heat your glass and a spoon for your whip float
- Remove your spoon from heating water and pour out
- Add Cask & Kettle Irish Coffee to your mug
- Add 1 tablespoon (pure) maple syrup to your mug
- Fill your mug with 6oz of water and stir, leave 1 inch of space for whip
- Hold your heated spoon (upside down) over your mug and pour your whip cream onto it to slow the flow into the glass, your whip should sit on top of the surface of your coffee
- Drink and enjoy!
