Boozy Chocolate Chip Donuts

What better way to say ‘I love you mom’ then with some boozy chocolate chip donuts with Hot Blonde icing? 🍩🍩🍩

Chocolate Chip Cake Donuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a donut pan very well and set aside.
Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, both sugars, nutmeg and salt. Add melted butter, eggs and milk and beat until mixture is smooth. Fill donut shells no higher than 2/3 of the way up so they don’t bake over. Bake donuts for 12-13 minutes.

➕2 1/4 cup AP flour

➕3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

➕1 tsp baking soda

➕2 tsp baking powder

➕3/4 cup brown sugar

➕1/4 cup granulated sugar

➕1/4 tsp nutmeg

➕8 tbs butter melted

➕3 eggs

➕1 1/2 cup milk

Hot Blonde Icing

➕2 tbs brewed Cask & Kettle Hot Blonde Coffee prepared at the 6oz setting (you can sip the rest while you bake)
➕1 cup powdered sugar
➕2-3 drops vanilla extract

Whisk glaze ingredients vigorously and apply a generous layer of icing to your baked donuts. Place on a cooling rack and garnish with sprinkles if desired.

Enjoy!
